DAY 1: Arrival and Travel Eastwards
Meet and greet at OR Tambo International then travel eastwards to Dullstroom town where breakfast will be served and there will be time for some shopping. We will then drive through some of the most scenic areas of South Africa on the Panorama route with a stops at Pilgrims Rest – an old mining town which is now a living memory of the early Gold rush days of the 1800s in South Africa. We will visit a gold digging site, a few museums, and the famous Pilgrims Graveyard! After that, we then move on to Graskop where we will spend the night and enjoy dinner and a drink before going to bed.

DAY 2: Tour of the Panorama
The Panorama tour continues to cover the Three Rondavels, Bourke’s Luck Potholes, Gods Window, the Pinnacle and a few waterfalls then to Sabie Valley Coffee Farm for a locally brewed coffee and cake on the veranda. Thereafter we head off to another overnight accommodation on the banks of the Sabie River. We will relax after a hard days’ viewing with an amazing dinner and charge our camera batteries for the next day.

DAYS 3 – 5: Exclusive Private Safari
Up for breakfast with big smiles on our faces, we move on to our completely private camp in the company of a tracker and a guide in the Balule Game Reserve. The thatched chalets are built on a 5 000ha stretch of land on a cliff above the Klaserie River. The reserve affords a ‘one of a kind’ breathtaking view of the Bushveld and provides you absolute comfort while retaining the charm and ambiance of a bygone safari era. Your days at the camp will be spent getting up early and enjoying game drives that are specially designed around you and your friends when searching for Africa’s Big 5! and major animals such as giraffe, zebra and kudu – providing you with amazing photography options. Lions and leopards are often seen in the area. With the knowledge of your experienced tracker and your guide, you will also be introduced to smaller and lesser known creatures and learn about the local bird population, indigenous plants and their medicinal properties.
