Tours and Day Safaris
for the Deaf & Visually Impaired

These very specialized tours were born out of the owner’s childhood experience while growing in the poor neighborhoods of Soweto, South Africa. He often saw how people with disabilities, especially the mentally ill, were isolated, abused and rejected. It is against this background that he decided to incorporate accessible tours in his business with special focus on people that are Blind and Visually Impaired as well as people who are Deaf. My goal is to continue developing accessible tour packages to cater for other disabilities in future.

The tours take place in Mpumalanga province, South Africa, very close to the Kruger National Park with focus not only on the blind and visually impaired guests, but also those accompanying them on a journey to explore the senses of touch, taste, smell, hearing and spatial awareness.
